Picture of Mass at the Jail – La Reverenda Lee Crawford presiding

This is taken in the patio area where the women spend the day.  The dormitory where they sleep is to the left, but not pictured.  Black plastic is tied to the trees to keep out the sun and rain.  This is the area I would like to cover with a metal roof.  I will leave the trees.

Another view of the patio area

On the right side are the bars of the entrance where visitors enter.

The women each have their own area, most share with one or two other people.

Each hammock that you see represents a marked out living area.

I’ve hired an architect to draw up the plans.  He has measured and will give an approximate cost not only for the whole project, but section by section.  The roofing of the patio is a hands on project that could worked on by short term missionaries.

At the top of the picture is the type of roof that plans are being worked up to construct.

The roof is made of metal and supported with wooden cross beams.

Underneath the top roof you can see another roof, this is because it is a picture of a small stand that sells snacks.  The lower roof would be the black plastic that you saw in the first pictures.
