THANK YOU National Charity League for supporting the Pantry over

the past year with both monetary donations and volunteer hours. Mother-daughter teams volunteered 990.50 hours in 2007. Thanks also to Elissa Kaczorowski for her work as NCL liaison to the Pantry.

 

THANK YOU Woodland Hills Christian and other West Valley Food Pantry member congregations, who donated to the Souper Sunday Food Drive on Super Bowl Sunday. Also thanks to the Dinner Club at Prince of Peace Episcopal for the proceeds of a successful fundraiser.

 

SUPERMARKET FOOD DRIVE Help is needed Saturday March 8th in front of Albertson’s Market at Victory and Fallbrook in two hour shifts, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Call Al Trumpler (818) 346-9421.

 

WE NEED STORE COUPONS for Ralph’s and Albertson’s; some are in Entertainment books, others come in the mail. We also need egg cartons. Thank you for dropping them at the Pantry.

 

TRIBUTES for a minimum donation of $5, you can help the Pantry and honor or remember someone; info and check to Earl Lewis, 6036 Shirley Ave., Tarzana, CA 91356. He’s been coordinating this for about 7 years, at first with his wife, Roselle.

The Pantry gave food to 247 people on Senior Wednesday, February 6. No more seniors will be signed up now, due to a cut in federal funds.
