Pantry Paper -  JUNE 2008

THANKS EVERYONE who helped with the Post Office Food Drive May 10th. Special thanks to Al Trumpler, who coordinated food transport from the P.O., and Jerry Murphey, who organized the set up, sorting and storage at the Pantry. Also, Boy Scout Troop 22 came early to set up and stayed to help sort. About 40 volunteers sorted 19,900 lbs. of food.

THANK YOU Theresa Murphy and Letty Siegel for fundraising and shopping for our beautiful new storage system, and to Al Trumpler for coordinating its installation. We appreciate National Charity League for making it all possible.

THANKS to Woodland Hills Community Church Youth Musical Theater for collecting over 100 cans of food during the run of its spring show, to Woodland Hills Presbyterian Church for two baskets of canned food, and to Prince of Peace Church for 176 cans of tuna.
