SUPERMARKET FOOD
DRIVES Help is needed Saturday, February 5th at Ralph’s on the
north side of Victory west of Fallbrook and Saturday, February 12th
at Albertson’s on the south side of Victory west of Fallbrook. Both consist of
two hour shifts, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Call Jeff Albee to sign up for the February 5th
drive (818) 731-7385, Al Trumpler for the 12th (818) 887-9384.
VOLUNTEER NEWS Welcome new volunteers Young Hee Baik and
Christel Fishburn.
NOW, IT IS EASIER TO SERVE OUR NON-ENGLISH OR LIMITED ENGLISH SPEAKING
CLIENTS. The Board has adopted a bilingual application card in English and
Spanish as the sole registration card for all future registrations. This will help us continue our long-standing
policy of helping meet the food needs of eligible people in the

OFF A DONATION, please ask them if they would like to receive a thank you
note. If so, pull a donation card from the envelope on the bulletin board, fill
it out and sign it. You’ll need to ask their name and address, describe what
they donated and MAKE SURE THIS INFORMATION IS LEGIBLE. Then return the card to
the envelope, where it will be passed on to a note writer. When someone drops
off a personal donation, give them the card to document a charitable deduction.
