Family Fun – Have a family prayer time.  Ask each family member for a prayer request and then pray for each thing together.  Post the list to remind your family and watch for God’s answers to your prayers.

Kindergarten – Grade 5

Personal Assignments for Special Servants

We encourage your family to share in the weekly assignments or create different activities to share in together.  Each week in class we will keep track of our completed assignments on our Season PASS.  Thank you for plunging into this with your child(ren).  Assignments vary based on your child’s grade level.  Please check the weekly handout for more information.

Plunge into Faith        Week of May 6 and 13

Grade K-1  Encourage your child to show her/his belief in God by doing an act of kindness for an elderly person in your church or neighborhood. 

Grade 2-3  Plunge into Faith by doing one of the following: 

1. Show kindness to someone who has been mean to you.

2. Take some canned food to a food pantry or shelter.

3. Invite a friend to go to church with you next Sunday.

4. Write a letter to a missionary that tells him/her that you are praying for them.  You could write a note or draw a picture to Nicholas Fanton, our POP youth who is soon off to Africa.

Grade 4-5  Take the Plunge into Faith by doing one of the following:

1. Make three new friends.

2. Look for an elderly person who might be lonely and talk to her/him.

3. Find a new person on your street and take him/her some cookies.

4. Do something nice for someone who is different from you and tell her/him that Jesus loves them.
