Advent Story:
So often we skip Advent and go right to Christmas. For example every
organization in this parish has their Christmas party in Advent. There are
some things that are difficult to change because church follows the culture
around us. However, worship this Advent will focus on the events and people
leading up to the Christmas event.
November 27 – Advent 1: The Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38)
Nine months before the birth of Jesus and angel shares “good news?” with Mary. We’ll look at what this story has to say about the character of God and those whom he calls to follow him.

father.”
