Parish Nursing holds the spiritual dimension to be central to our practice, which also encompasses the physical, psychological and social dimensions.   Outreach A Committee that coordinates with our West Valley Food Coalition, sells scrip to fund special needs in the community, schedules convalescent home worship services, and provides gifts for the needy at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our Outreach donations throughout the year go to a number of worthy causes both within the United States and to international organizations.   Uganda Mission Prince of Peace has sent two Mission Teams to Uganda, sponsored children so they can have an education and helped to build Prince of Peace Chapel in Kinkiizi Community College in Kirima, Kanungu.   West Valley Food Pantry The West Valley Food Pantry is a coalition of nine congregations located in the San Fernando Valley providing emergency foood to the needy and homeless.
