There are times when someone says "I haven't seen _____________ in church for awhile." Sometimes this is because someone has been ill or life has become a challenge and church attendance has become more difficult.   Tele-care has a two fold mission: first, to extend pastoral care to those we are missing at church and second, to provide another contact person in case parishioners need someone to talk with.   Fr. Rand, Pastor Kathie and Fr. Brian give names to me of parishioners who are home bound or otherwise can't get to church. In addition to home communions, which go out with our Clergy and Lay Eucharistic Ministers, I telephone these parishioners to talk and see if there are any ways that Prince of Peace can minister with them.
