Experiments in Faith Series Curriculum Tagline: I can trust God because He is always faithful! Main Idea: The Bible is full of stories of people who have shown incredible faith in God. Kids will learn about these examples of faith as well as learn some cool science experiments to help them remember each story. Memory Verse: “Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
April 30		Experiment in Faith 1 – Noah (Genesis 6:9-22) Kids will name something that is hard to trust God to do. Experiment: Rainbow in a Bottle
May 7		Experiment in Faith 2 – Abram (Genesis 12:1-5) Kids will name something they think God is asking them to do. Experiment: Magnetic Cereal
May 14		Honor your Mother – Ruth 1 Happy Mother’s Day Lesson (Mother’s Day)
May 21		Parting of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:15-29) Kids will ask God to help them with a tough situation. Experiment: Candle sucks up water into a glass.
May 28		Pentecost Sunday – International Day Elijah Calls Fire from Heaven (1 Kings 18:22-39) Kids will name an area of peer pressure that’s hard to resist and pray for God to help them. Experiment: A Balloon survives being pressed against a bed of nails.
June 4		Peter Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-33) Kids will be challenged to give their hearts to Jesus. Experiment: Floating Bowling Ball.
June 11		Ice Cream Sundae Sunday – end of school year
July 10 -14		Vacation Bible Adventure and Extended Afternoon Camp Stellar – Shine Jesus’ Light
