Morning Prayer  Every morning in Lent (through March 31) at 7am (except Wednesdays, and Sundays), we are doing Morning Prayer online .  Email office@popwh.org for instructions on how to join.  


Palm Sunday The 10am service will begin outside the Family Center with the Palm Procession on Sunday, March 25.


Easter Flower Dedications  are a lovely way to remember loved ones and thanksgivings. Please use the blue envelopes in the pew racks to submit your dedications for Easter flowers by Sunday, March 25.


Watch With Me Vigil  begins at 9pm after the Maundy Thursday service, March 29 and ends at noon prior to our first Good Friday service.  Sign up for one hour to pray and keep watch with Jesus. "...So, could you not stay awake with me one hour'..."  Matthew 26:40


Blessing of the Animals Sunday, April 8, on the patio at 10am.  Bring dogs (on leashes), cats, rabbits, snakes (in cages), or your favorite plush friend.  There will be no Sunday School classes.

Bible Study- Hosanna: A Spiritual Journey through Holy Week—  Explore the main texts in all four Gospels and in Paul’s writings that deal specifically with the last week of Jesus’ life and His resurrection.  9am Wednesday Mornings in the Guild Room through Lent.


Lenten Soup Supper Series—  The Tuesday Night Lenten Soup Supper Series, “Pilgrimages of Faith: Experiencing God More Deeply in Uncertain Times,”  runs from 6:30-8:30 in the Family Center.  Childcare is available upon request.  Please contact the office at 818-346-6968.

Prayer Shawl Ministry—  The Prayer Shawl / Blanket is an outward and visible sign of God’s love, grace and presence in our lives.  The next Prayer Shawl Workshop is Saturday, May 28 at 10am in the Chapel, and is open to all knitters as well as those who would like to learn!   Please contact Kathryn Reasoner  for more information.

Tuna / Peanut Butter Sunday—  Every first Sunday of the month is Tuna/Peanut Butter Sunday!  Put an extra container or two of tuna or peanut butter in your shopping cart for the Food Pantry and drop it off in the narthex on Sunday, May 1.  Thank you for your ongoing support!


Breakfast is Served—  in the Family Center Sunday, March 18 after the 8am and 10am services.  $7 for adults and $1 for kids.


Patio Bake, Candy, and Succulent Garden Sale.  Sunday, March 25 from 8am-12noon

This fundraiser for Days for Girls  helps purchase materials and products to sew reusable feminine hygiene kits that are sent internationally to girls in Uganda and other countries.  We need many volunteers to make homemade goodies * candies * preserves & or make hostess gifts that we can sell for this wonderful and very important outreach program.   Help is also needed with set up, selling, cleanup. Walking Through the BibleOur Prince of Peace Children will continue to walk through the Bible while creating their own Bibles.
