SUMMER SCRIPTURE STUDY
St. Bernardine’s and Prince of Peace are planning a study on Paul’s letters to the Galatians and Thessalonians using Tom (N.T.) Wright’s Bible commentary Paul for Everyone, Galatians and Thessalonians. Classes will be held on 7 Thursdays (July 10 – August 21, 2008) from 7:30pm – 9:15pm. Cost is $20. BELL SUNDAY/CONCERT
(Sunday, June 1)
Bell Sunday— The handbell choirs of Prince of Peace will participate in the 10am service. Invite a friend as we ring in the joy of the Lord!
 
Bell Concert— The Alchemy Handbell Ensemble presents “Handel for Handles” at 5pm in the Sanctuary. Invite your friends and family to hear selections from the Water Music, the Hallelujah Chorus as well as other Alchemy favorites. Freewill donations will go toward the purchase of new handles for our bells.

FAMINE RELIEF FUNDRAISER
The Youth Group just completed their 30-hour famine and they continue raising funds by selling $1 links from the chain made during their 30-Hour Famine. Look for their table on the patio after services. So far over $4000 has already been raised to feed hungry children and change the the world!. Thank you for your support. JDOK: FAITHBOOKING
(May 25, after 10am service)
The Junior Daughters of the King are currently working on the Fruits of the Spirit Bible Study Project. Each meeting, they read and discuss a devotional on a Fruit of the Spirit. Then, each one creates scrapbook pages that bring their memories, God's word and prayers together.
 
JDOK provides young girls (age 7 and older) with a group of friends with whom they can share, pray, play, serve, and grow together. Visitors are welcomed to JDOK activities!
