Almighty and merciful God,
in this holy season of Lent
I come before You.
As I walk this winding path,
quiet my mind and steady my heart.
Turn me from all that
separates me from You.
Create in me a clean heart,
and renew a right spirit within me.
Prayer at the Center and the Return
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Lord Jesus Christ,
in this still place I rest in You.
Receive my prayers.
Forgive my sins.
Heal what is broken.
Strengthen me to follow You.
As I return into the world,
grant that I may walk in love
and serve You with gladness.
